Cyborgs are truely a wonder of science. Next to the mysterious androids, cyborgs are the rarest robotic type around. A cyborg is a mixture of both human and Robot. As such they must undergo a gruely surgical procedure to exchange a body part with a robotic equivelant. A cyborg may substitute Up to 7 body parts with robots. 2 Legs, 2 Arms, Torso, Head, Eye/Eyes. Each body part replaced in this manner requries an endurance check at -7, or the person’s “limb” is permanantly damaged for 1d10hp (min 1). Cyborg characters created at lv 1 are assumed to pass these checks. Each check becomes easier, as the pain and risk of the surgery is easier to handle with each procedure. As suc hthe penalty is lessened by 1. A cyborg, much like an android, have the same S.P.E.C.I.A.L minimums and maximums as humans, however they gain a +2 to the racial maximum of any Stat approrpiate to the robotic part. I.E. Cyborg Eye/Eyes, makes racial Maximums in Perception 12. A cyborg can be healed like a robot, with repair, however does so at a % less. The Cyborg can also heal naturally, but only gains a % of his overall Healing Rate. This % for both scenerios is determined by the difference of his robotic/human ratio. A cyborg with only 2 alterations to himself, Eye(s)/L. Arm, is 20% Robotic, 80% human. This meens they heal only 80% of their overall HR per 24hrs of activity, or 6hrs of rest. Equally they would only heal 20% of the overall repair check preformed on them.
Cyborgs can take any perk with the “non-robot” descriptor.
